This award will support new work in the lab for three years. We\u00a0will use mouse models and patient-derived cell cultures to test the hypothesis that alterations in a protein (ankyrin-G) play a key role in GABAergic signaling defects in bipolar disorder. We will also investigate whether current therapeutic treatments effectively target the ankyrin-G protein. We are very grateful to One Mind for the support of our work!
