A big thank you to Drs. Maren Engelhardt and Christian Schultz for inviting Paul to the University of Heidelberg, Germany to talk about his work on the role of giant ankyrin-G in the formation of critical neuronal domains like the axon initial segment, nodes of Ranvier, and GABAergic synapses. It was great to meet with members of their laboratories and to see historic old Heidelberg (along with Frankfurt, Würzburg, Cologne and Amsterdam, Netherlands).
