Andrew presented his findings on the loss of GABAergic circuits in an Ank3 mutant mouse model at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Michigan Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience. The meeting was held at Brody Square on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing on May 20, 2016. We got to hear about all the great science going on in the state of Michigan and hear an outstanding keynote from Dr. Mriganka Sur on the Functional Logic of Cortical Circuits. Graduate students from the University of Michigan did a great job with Evan Schramm (Pharmacology, Traynor Lab) and Brittany Kuhn (Neuroscience, Flagel Lab) sweeping the graduate student poster awards and Chris Fitzpatrick (Neuroscience, Morrow Lab) winning the Founders’ Day Award for Outstanding Graduate student publication. Go Blue! Looking forward to the meeting being held in Ann Arbor next year!
