Andrew Nelson was awarded a 2018 Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship! The very competitive Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship supports outstanding doctoral students who have achieved candidacy and are actively working on dissertation research and writing. Rackham seeks to support students working on dissertations that are unusually creative, ambitious and impactful. Andrew’s thesis is studying the role of loss-of-function variation in ANK3 in bipolar disorder. Congratulations, Andrew!!
