Paul gave a short talk and Julie presented a poster on her work on the control of subcellular localization of the ankyrin family by protein palmitoylation at the Biochemical Society Focused Meeting on “Acylation of intracellular and secreted proteins: Mechanisms and functional outcomes” from Sept 10-12 at Brighton, UK. Julie was awarded a Best Poster prize for her presentation! The meeting was outstanding, as it always is when the acylation field gets together. We enjoyed chatting on the beach and even got to meet poor Dan. Looking forward to our meeting in the US in 2019 in New York!! Congrats to everyone that presented such great work and to all the prize winners!
