Paul attended the 2018 One Mind Music Festival at the Staglin Family Vineyards in Napa Valley. The festival started with a scientific symposium featuring Tom Insel, Beth Stevens, and the three 2018 One Mind Rising Star awardees, followed by an amazing wine tasting in the vineyard caves with more than 70(!!!) vineyards, a concert by Grammy award-winning Jennifer Hudson, and a wine dinner by Michelin-starred Christopher Kostow. It was such a thrill to present our work to families, people affected by mental health challenges, and other scientists  We all got so many thoughtful questions about the science from the crowd. It was also great to see all of the other cutting-edge science from the other speakers. We are so thrilled to have the support of the Staglin family and One Mind and we’re excited to make progress on our Bipolar Disorder translational work. The festival was a life-changing experience! It’s so inspiring to see all of the great work happening because of the Staglin family!
