Freshman undergraduate, Gabrielle Jones, attended the 2026 Michigan Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience annual meeting in Kalamazoo on Monday, May 18. Gabrielle, who has been working with research investigator Dr. Angel McCary on automated analysis of sleep and activity using EEG/EMG and DeepLabCut, presented her preliminary studies of sleep dysfunction in the Ank3 W1989R mouse line. For her efforts, Gabrielle was awarded one of four Undergraduate Poster Awards. Congrats, Gabrielle!
